Weekend Update

The weekend draws to a close. I had a good one. Got a lot more boxes unpacked and am slowly getting organized. My honey Joanne stopped by Saturday afternoon and brought lunch. It was yummy. Manny and Karen came over Saturday night and we watched a good Cyndi Lauper special. I liked it more than I thought I would. Did lots of errands on Sunday and then went over to Doc's place to watch the car race. Came back home afterwards and unpacked some more boxes. Off to Reading and Wilkes-Barre for work tomorrow. Oh boy.

Home Sweet Home

The movers came with my stuff yesterday and the unpacking has begun. The place is kind of a mess, but it's good to have my furniture. Work has been brutal this week so the rest of the unpacking will get done whenever. I'm exhausted and sore from work and the unpacking. Still glad to be home!! The webcam is now in a new spot. You can see some of the 83 boxes of my belongings that the movers brought. Where does it all come from?

Webcam Back Online

The webcam is back in my new apartment in Wilmington. Currently it sits in what is going to be my home office area. So far there are just a couple boxes there acting as a temporary table until the movers get here with all my stuff. Can't wait to get all settled. Love it already!

I Made It

I arrived back home in Wilmington about an hour ago. The trip went very smoothly. I was met by some good friends and we are now enjoying a cool beverage. Glad to be back!!

Greetings From Nashville!

It is 1:00AM (central time) and I am currently sitting in a Holiday Inn in Nashville, TN. The movers loaded me up Thursday and I left Texas at 2:10PM and got here at 12:45 this morning. Gonna get a few hours sleep and then drive the rest of the way home. Catch ya later!!

Moving Day Approaches

The movers are coming Thursday, June 15th. Looks like I will be hitting the road for Wilmington that afternoon. Hope to get back by late Friday night (probably very late). The webcam is pointed at one of the piles of boxes I am creating while packing. If you're bored, watch it grow!!

Two Weeks To Go

Just got back from a week in Wilmington. Enjoyed some holiday barbeques, visits with friends and family and went to work a couple days for a refresher on my new job. Signed a lease on my new apartment. Scheduled the movers for June 14-15 to come get my stuff and take it back home. If everything stays on schedule I will be back in Wilmington by Saturday June 17th and will report to work on Monday, June 19th. WOW!! Lots to do in the meantime to get ready for the move out of Texas, but I'll enjoy it.
