I’m Still Here

It’s been a month and a half since the last post. Boy, time flies. I’m off this week and decided it’s time to catch you all up a bit. Not that life has been that exciting. Work has still been crazy with lots of traveling and long days. I am really enjoying my time off right now!! Enjoyed Breeders’ Cup this past Friday and Saturday. It was a small party at Doc’s on Saturday (he and Manny came to my place for Friday’s 3 races). Didn’t have too much success betting, but a couple good prices kept me close to even. Just been catching up on chores and errands since. Got some much needed work done to the truck. Only need new tires now, will look into that soon. Been doing some clothes shopping this week as I finally decided to get some that actually fit. All my other clothes had gotten way too big. Guess the weight loss is sticking! Recently bought a new Sony 40” LCD TV for the living room. AWESOME! I love Hi-Def. Having a new couch and chair delivered tomorrow that I purchased Monday. A total revamp of the living room, though the carpets still need cleaning. My brother and I are going to split a Hoover steam vac when we see a good sale, so it will have to wait until then. Also, I'm turning 49 on Friday, 1 year left before the big Five-Oh. There you go, nothing too exciting, just working hard, enjoying my week off and spending lots of money.

Murph Update: He finally left for FL 2 days after he planned. He had trouble finding work at first but that has now improved and he seems quite happy. I sure do miss him though.
